TRIP TO PERRY, UTAH

This is Three Mile Creek. When we were in Utah my sister, Thelda Kay and the two of us went up to Perry with our map and went looking for the places the family had been We went once before but was not sure we were on the right street and we wanted to check it out, and we decided to go look and see if we could find Porter Springs. It was an enjoyable day and we were glad we found it. We also went to Maddox Chicken Restaurant for lunch. It was fun!
This was the home where Grandma Ryan lived, but the house has had new siding on it or been rebuilt since that time. She lived up the street a little ways and on the other side of the street from where Susan Amelia, her Grandmother lived.

This is Susan Amelia Perry's house. She was Grandma Ryans Grandmother.

This is Porter Springs. It looks nice here compared to what it must have been like when Grandma was baptised.

This is Porter Springs at Perry (Three Mile Creek) Utah. Grandma Ryan and most of her siblings were baptised here. This was always done on their birthday, rain or shine. They had to break the ice to baptise Grandma. After looking at our map and talking to people we found it. We had to go up a private road to a farmhouse that has been built there. Grandpa went to the door and asked if that was Porter Springs and the lady said it was. It was fun to find this place.
